MiracleHome
Tickets are sold during a multi-month marketing campaign which includes TV and newspaper ads, radio spots, news stories, website updates, brochure and letter mailings and MiracleHome open houses. The project concludes with the MiracleHome broadcast, an event where Batson Hospital patients and staff, project volunteers, sponsors and contributors gather to give away the home.Co-created in 2003 by the Friends of Childen's Hospital and the Home Builder's Association of Jackson, the Batson Hospital for Children MiracleHome has quickly become Friends’ largest annual fundraiser. Each year, the MiracleHome committee works with the Home Builder’s Association of Jackson and a volunteer builder to construct a new home which is given away. Fabulous secondary prizes are also part of the prize package. |
