![]() Friends of Children's Hospital has recently partnered with Mississippi Charity Clays for an upcoming event that we feel will bring something new to the Jackson area and help raise funds for children's hospital. On Saturday May 16th, Providence Hill Farm will host the Mississippi Charity Clays Tournament. Providence Hill is one of the most sought after sporting clays courses in the State and competing teams will have full access. Six man teams are available for $1,800 ($300 per person) and sponsorship opportunities are available. This price includes all shooting fees as well as a complete breakfast at Providence Hill. Scores will be calculated and awards given for the top team and top individual. On Saturday evening, the Mississippi Charity Clays Gala and Awards Ceremony will be held at the River Hills Country Club to celebrate the beneficiaries and attendees and announce the winners of the day's events. The black-tie optional attire will be complimented by live music, silent auctions and the best in local cuisine catered by Mint and Julep Restaurants. Tickets for the Gala are $55 per person or $100 per couple. Mississippi Charity Clays is a non-profit charitable organization founded with the hope of raising significant dollars for Mississippi Charities. Beneficiaries of this year's tournament are Friends of Children's Hospital, The Alzheimer's Association and Young Life. All funds raised this year will be divided between the three charities. Mississippi Charity Clays is a fund of the Mississippi Charitable Foundation and all donations to the tournament are tax deductable. Organizers hope to continue this tournament in future years and increase the amount of funds distributed to deserving charities.
