Friends of Children’s Hospital raises funds for Batson Children’s Hospital primarily through special events. We annually host several fundraisers in the metro Jackson area and also receive funds from events hosted by generous businesses and organizations. We are excited to partner with new organizations in northern and southern Mississippi to spread the knowledge of Batson Children’s Hospital with others.
An Evening with the Mannings, Presented by BankPlus, is a fundraiser for the Eli Manning Children’s Clinics at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children. It is part of a five-year commitment to raise $2.5 million for the clinics that serve Mississippi children for everything from annual check-ups to outpatient dialysis.
The annual BankPlus Light-A-Light for Children Project is near and dear to many in the Jackson area. Inspired by the patients and their families who must spend the holidays in the hospital, it is our goal to make it as special as possible for them.
The Batson Hospital MiracleHome committee works throughout the year with Trustmark National Bank, the Home Builder’s Association of Jackson and a volunteer builder to construct a home. The builder donates his time and uses donated or discounted materials to build the MiracleHome. This ensures that as much money as possible can be raised for the hospital.
Enchanted Evening, Presented by BankPlus, is the signature fundraising event for Friends of Children’s Hospital. A diligent committee puts together a wonderful evening of live and silent art auctions, delicious food and great live entertainment. Guests are encouraged to wear white attire for the outdoor event and enjoy one final celebration for the summer to support Friends of Children’s Hospital.

The band, Southern Halo, will host the first “Rocking for Children’s Hospital” Benefit at the Warehouse in Cleveland, MS on Friday, May 18th at 7PM. The evening will feature a silent auction, guest speakers and live entertainment by Southern Halo and Nashville recording artist Phil Vaught.
Employees at SouthGroup Insurance Services just wanted to do something to help. That is what they will tell you. Their fundraiser, the SouthGroup 5K Run/Walk, has raised more than $65,000 in only three short years. The race is held annually at the headquarters in Ridgeland, and the employees could not be happier with the results. And neither could Friends.
Friends of Children’s Hospital is the named charity of The True South Classic, Mississippi’s only PGA tour golf tournament. Raffle ticket sales and volunteer activity are available through Friends of Children’s Hospital.
The Trustmark Children’s Hospital Pro-Am Golf Tournament is one of Friend’s major fundraisers and one of the largest tournaments in the region. Simultaneous play at Annandale Golf Club, Reunion Golf Club and The Country Club of Jackson ensures a great day of golf for everyone! New sponsors, teams and volunteers are always needed.
